A Gift to You

aahs-text.gif

I’ve recently requested and received a coupon code from Suffern Brothers, the makers of All American Hot Sauce. This coupon code entitles you to a 10% discount on your total order, but you have to act fast! It expires at the end of June. To get the coupon code, listen to the podcast, beginning with Episode 15.

Why should you support All American Hot Sauce?

  • 5 different types of Hot Sauce- (Full-Bodied, Mild, Bayou, Southwest, and Northeast)
  • They come with Free Recipes!
  • “The All American Hot Sauce, LLC, is a corporation with a conscience. Seven percent of all profits go to organizations that improve the lives of Americans. We currently purchase phone cards for our military. Proceeds from our Bayou-Classic sauce are donated to the Gulf region hit hard by Hurricane Katrina.” (from their website)
  • Cheap and yucky Hot Sauce is easy to find. Quality Hot Sauce, on the other hand, is not.

You 10% discount means you can have the America The Beautiful assortment for $18 instead of $20.

Note: I receive no part of your purchase, but I do receive the satisfaction of supporting a worthy organization, and the metrics to find out who shops from my podcasts!

    March Perfect Post Award

    morphing.jpg

Lindsay and MommaK have asked us, once again, to offer our idea of what a Perfect Post looks like.I love my children. I love them a little more when they are sick, because they need it so. However, pink eye isn’t the kind of sick that makes you love your kids. It’s the kind of sick that makes you go “ick” and then go “son of a BITCH! Eyedrops!”

Anyone who has tried to put eyedrops in their own eyes has thought that. Those slippery little toddlers just get slipperier when you get eyedrops everywhere BUT in their eyes. Morphing into Mama has documented the process for us with skill and humor. You may not want to read this in the office, because I read the progression of events and laughed out loud. However, you have to read it because anyone who’s been there will see themselves, and anyone who hasn’t may need the warning. Anyone without kids is advised that this is but one of the many things that await you if you become a parent. If you can’t laugh about it, get a puppy.
